With one login name and password, you have many online College resources at your fingertips, including: IRIS, Internet Registration, Information & Services Canvas, online course management system Heartland Email (including myMail and Outlook) Library Services Network File Storage College Announcements Class Meeting Cancellations Follow the Quickstart guide to begin . -- First Time Using myHeartland? Maximize Before logging in for the first time to myHeartland you must create a password using Manage My Password (formerly Password Station) . Remember to update your security questions after you create your password. Visit the Help tab for more information. Important Information Maximize College Closing Due to inclement weather, Heartland Community College classes are cancelled and offices are closed on Monday, March 25. All classes, events, and activities have been cancelled. College offices will reopen on Tuesday at 8:00 a.m. Please do not phone the College for school closing information. Further closing information will be updated on the Heartland Web site and on local radio and television stations . Students using Blackboard , if you have online assignments due, please complete them on time. -- Login Information On Campus While on campus, the Login button at the top of this page automatically and securely submits your HCC credentials so you don't have to supply your username and password. If you use FireFox, you will still be asked to supply your login credentials. Off Campus While off campus, you will see our new login page, and you will be able to sign in using either your HCC username or your HCC email address. How do I change my password? Login to Manage My Password to change your password. You must know the last four digits of your social security number, your date of birth, your login name and ID# (found on your student ID or class schedule). Entered the correct password but still can't login? If you correctly entered your password in the password field and you got a message saying, "The credentials you provided cannot be determined to be authentic," login to Manage My Password to change your password. Spring 2009 Students can no longer ADD any classes for Spring 2009 through IRIS. You must come in to Student Services to add a class. Students enrolled in Fall 2008 hybrid or online courses may now login to the orientation and practice course (WebCT 101 - Orientation and Support, Fall 2008) between Friday, August 8 and Sunday, August 17 . This course is designed to give online and hybrid students an opportunity to ask questions about WebCT to become familiar with WebCT before classes begin and to allow you to get help throughout the semester. Second 8-week classes will became available through the WebCT tab in my Heartland at 7 a.m. on Monday, October 13, 2008. Your fall courses became available through the WebCT tab in my Heartland at 8 a.m. on Monday, August 18, 2008. You may login to my Heartland, click on the WebCT tab and find a link with your course name listed. Be sure to log into your online course during the first week the class meets, or you risk being dropped by your instructor. -- Outages and Alerts Maximize There are no outages or alerts at this time.
